ADI 2008 Expo!
This year’s ADI Expo, held at Emperors Palace on 22 and 23 April, created the
perfect opportunity for the installers, clients and the engineers to view new
and existing technology solutions distributed in Southern Africa by ADI.

The Expo also gave ADI the chance to
reiterate ‘Brand Awareness’ for the
suppliers, the products and ADI.
Worldwide, the Expos are run to a
global ADI format, which gives the vendors
a chance to speak to customers and
understand their requirements on a global
basis as many different regions and
countries have different requirements. “It is also important for our customers
to see that we continually offer a wide
range of products in different categories;
that we also look for new manufacturers to
represent for our customers’ business
needs as the market changes or new
products become available,” says Barbara Maclean, marketing manager at ADI. “The manufacturers also got to interact
with a good portion of ADI’s customers.
“This was the second such event held
in South Africa and ADI will continue to
hold the Expo on an annual basis. This
year’s Expo saw more than twice the
visitors that the inaugural one did.
“Prizes were drawn throughout the
show, with SLI receiving the ADI grand
prize of a trip for two to Leopard Creek
Golf Estate
“Ideco gave away 3 VW advanced
Driving Course prizes valued at R1 500
each. Schneider Clipsal gave away
10 Clipsal Universal Remotes valued at
R2 000 each. Mobotix gave a R10 000
megapixel camera away and many other
prizes were given away by the suppliers.” Please check the website regularly for next years expo date and other events!
